Christmas is the most amazing time of the year when it comes to food. There is so much variety and so many wonderful spices to be used in cooking. Whilst most of these foods are suitable for children, we do need to give it a little thought.
For example the Christmas Pudding may contain whole nuts and other desserts might be laced with alcohol. And if you're trying to avoid very rich and sugary foods for very young children then you might be wondering what you can serve them for dessert on the big day.
We've come up with this wonderful recipe, using some of the best bits of a traditional Christmas pudding but with a healthy twist.
Apple and cinammon is match made in heaven, then add in some dried fruit and a dollop of cream or yoghurt and you've got a wonderful dessert suitable for even the youngest Happy Tums!
